We had an amazing week and first Polar Express event! First and foremost thank you to my staff. I unfortunately fell very ill with high fevers yesterday and had to sit this one out. Every person on my crew stepped up to make this happen and they did a fantastic job. This was our first Christmas event ever and they really stepped up to the plate.
Our Shrimp boils were a big hit as well as the cheesecakes. We are so excited to have these new additions to the menu and will add more this week. Saturdays we will offer beignets and Cafe Du Monde Chicory coffee.
Alpha Gal has really taken over here in the Ozarks and I didn’t realize that offering alpha gal options would put us on a whole other level in the industry. As well as put us on the map for our celiac and gluten intolerant friends. I myself have celiac and people just don’t really know the level of commitment you have to have with this disease. Now I see that with Alpha Gal also.
I’ll be coming out with a better menu to accommodate both soon. I absolutely do offer gluten free fried chicken and quite frankly, I think mine is some of the best around. We only eat gluten free at home and no one can tell the difference.
I just need another fryer at the train car!
If ever you need a catering or private chef services please know we offer all these options, allergy friendly also.
New hours this week are Tuesday through Friday 11am to 8pm and Saturday for lunch 11am to 3pm with a few brunch items.. biscuits and gravy, smothered chicken biscuits, beignets and chicory coffee.
Polar Express event dates Dec 13th, 20th and 21st. 4-8pm
