Thank You

We just wanted to give everyone our sincerest, thank you for everyone’s support as we get the restaurant open in Mansfield Missouri. We have not had the easiest week, especially for my son Michael who lost his grandfather. Some have met my son Michael, he’s mostly been behind the scenes helping get the land cleared and cleaned up at the farm, doing all the hard labor moving us here to Ava, and Mansfield. Michael graduated in May and is headed off to the Military very soon. But before he leaves he’s helping get this farm and restaurant started and we are so proud of him.

Next week Oct 24th & Oct 25th.. we have two events going on. Brunch from 9am-2pm and then we open with our Magical Candy Shop Pop-Up from 4-9pm. Both are ticketed events and the links will be posted at the end of this blog. We wanted to spread these out, but with the current events we will be going full force that weekend!

We will open with our smoke house brunch menu.. smoked steak, eggs, chicken and waffles, smoked brisket Benedict, smoked chicken & sausage Gumbo, cinnamon roll French toast, Farmhouse Hash and more.

We are excited for this menu, as it brings a bit of Kansas City and New Orleans to the exact train car that traveled as a dining car from Kansas City to New Orleans with Kansas City Southern, part of the passenger RR Line.

This exact train car has some amazing history and we are so proud to follow in its legacy. It’s pretty neat that we have had a food truck, serving Cajun bbq and New Orleans classics out of Kansas for years and now we have a train car that traveled to and from both locations. That’s Gods timing right there.
